Method 1 : I would suggest you to try updating the Microsoft virtual Wi-Fi miniport adapter from device manager. Click on start button and type device manager. Select device manager from the control panel list. From the device list, locate the adapter. Go to driver tab and click on update. In addition to updating the miniport adapter, it will require you to download the latest driver for your network card.
Method 2 : If the issue still occurs, you may perform system restore to undo the changes on system, when everything was working fine. Follow the steps in the link:. Let us know the status of the issue after performing the troubleshooting steps.

I would suggest you that if the wireless network is working correctly then you should not be concerned about the virtual adapter. Please reply back if you still have any issues.
